2004

Began the year in the 2004 UK Conti Cup, finished top 3 at every meeting he raced at, but pulled out of the series after 5 rounds to concentrate on his 70cc JRA bike, in order to obtain his ACU Clubmans licence. Suffered rotten luck with machine failure and some unlucky crashes, but finished top 3 in nearly every race he finished. Finished 4th place overall in JRA Series, as highest placed Novice rider.

2005 125 GP AT NEW ERA SUPERCLUB

Aaron was loaned a Honda RS125 by ex-racer Paul Collins, and under the Activ8/Stealth Racing banner finished his Rookie 125 year in a fantastic 5th place overall. Unable to practice away from meetings due to his age (14) he had to learn all of the tracks while qualifying & racing, not an ideal situation, but Aaron was now beginning to really turn heads with his gutsy performances.

2006 HONDA CB500 CUP AT NEW ERA CLUB & SUPERCLUB

Aaron made the switch away from 2 strokes, and headed for the Series which made 2 times World Superbike Champion James Toseland famous, the CB500 Cup. Loaning a bike from Teenage Kicks Racing, Aaron raced to 2nd place overall in the Club Championship, and 3rd overall in the ultra-competitive Superclub Series, taking an amazing 28 podium finishes and a Cadwell Park Man of the Meeting award along the way.

2007 BRITISH SUPERMONO CHAMPIONSHIPS

Aaron’s Team built a Honda 450 Minimono for his assault on his first British Road Racing Title, and he stunned the BSA paddock on his very standard and remarkably under-powered little 450. Highlights of the year were a stunning 2nd place at Round 1, and qualifying on the front row for the European Championships at Snetterton. Aaron valiantly held on to 2nd place in the Championships up until the final round, but the extra power of the bigger Supermonos told at Cadwell, and saw Aaron slip to a still credible 4th place overall, earning him massive respect from experienced racers such as four times British Champion Mike “Spike” Edwards and reigning European Champion Mark Lawes.
