Ben Wylie

Ben Wylie

Ben Wylie from Telford has been riding motorbikes since 2000, where he started out in the British Superteen championship under the banner of Ben Wylie Racing. He progressed up to Junior Superstock and British Superstock between 2001 and 2004, where he changed teams each year. He then went to World Endurace where he raced with one of the well known teams, Phase One Endurace. After a year on the world circuits, he returned to Britain to take part in the British Supersport Championship, under the banner of Wylie and Holland Motorcycles.

In 2008 Ben has not only ridden the in the British Supersport Championship, but has also taken his place as head of the Wylie and Holland Racing team, which has had a number of riders throughout the season on other bikes in either the Supersport or Junior Superstock 600’s. These include: Midge Smart, Dan Smith, Matt Bilton Simon Deaville and Connor Behan. He has done well this year considering all the problems that have reared their heads at him and the team, but has managed a brilliant top ten finish, which is so impressive in such a close fought Championship.

Although Bad luck has hindered Ben’s season this year, he is still a very highly respected rider, and hopes to come back again next year, and get more top ten finishes.
