Daniel Hegarty is AAA Racing’s up and coming British Super Bikes Rider, still only in his early twenties Dan has remained a remarkably consistent racer with a proven track record. 2003, 2004 Derby Phoenix 250 cc, 600cc winning 13 out of 16 races. The 2005 R6 Cup Lap Record at Mallory Park and Brands Hatch, and in 2006 he competed in the National Superstock. In 2007 with SPR Racing he set his fastest ever recorded times on board a Yamaha R1.
2007 Nottinghamshire’s Young Person Of The Year for his role in the Rev and Go scheme, a project in nearby Cotgrave to cut crime and anti-social behaviour.
The people around Dan have kept the faith and found him such a young talented rider who is forever striving to reach his goals in BSB. For the 2008 season Dan’s fitness level and improved concentration is second to none (we just can’t wait till the season starts and neither can he).
