DUCATI have announced their MotoGP road bike, the Desmosedici RR, will have a limited production run of just 1500 units. An increase of 250 from the initial number of 1250, due to demand.
At this point there is thought to be very few bikes still available, with over 1250 orders already received you will have to act quickly if you want one of these. Ducati are expected to bring an end to reservations soon and production is due to start shortly in their Bologna factory.
This bike will set you back a cool £40,000 and Ducati have given priority to the 500 or so people who also bought the Ducati 999R and they should receive it by the end of this year. Ducati have guaranteed completion of the full production run by the end of 2008.
