There are a number of ways you can subscribe to the site to stay up to date. I will take a little time here to explain each method os subscription, what you get and how to get it.
The RSS Feed
For the more technical minded readers out there we have an RSS feed that you can subscribe to using your favourite RSS reader. The link for the feed is here.
For the non-technical minded readers out there here is a little information on RSS. Suppose you have 50 sites and/or blogs that you like to visit on a regular basis. Going to visit each website and blog everyday could take you hours. With RSS, you can “subscribe” to a website or blog, and get “fed” all the new headlines from all of these 50 sites and blogs in one list, and see what’s going on in minutes instead of hours.
That one place where your RSS list is created is called an RSS Reader, and it gathers all the updated posts from all the websites and blogs you have subscribed to.
If you’d like your RSS list to be accessible from any computer or mobile device you may have like a PDA, laptop, or cell phone, some popular RSS readers include (and almost all are FREE):
The Email Updates
The email updates (on the left hand sidebar) is an alternative to the RSS feed. All you do is put your email address in the box and confirm your subscription, you will then be emailed whenever a new post/story is added to the site.
The Newsletter
The newsletter signup (see the big yellow box at the top of this post entitled “Subscribe to our newsletter and keep up to date!”) is there for people to keep up to date with the progression of the site, new features, competitions and interviews. Generally sent out once or twice per month, the newsletter is an invaluable resource for anyone interested in this site.
Signing up is easy, simply stick your email address in the two boxes above and await your confirmation email. Rest assured we will not bombard your inbox with spam, all mailings will be related to the site.
