Jack Booth – end of 2008 and beginning of 2009

I for one am glad to see the back of 2008,it was probably my worst season sincestarting racing. The broken arm followed by concusion at Knockhill meant that I effectivly missed the first two and half months of the season, then the rule change in Scotland made the ‘98 aprillia totaly uncompetitive.

Still at least I got a few outings on the RS125 Honda supplied by Dave Wadsworth of Specialized coatings and had some decent results.

So i’m now looking forward to 2009, weve bought a Suzuki SV 650 and have applied for Thundersports minitwins class. If i’m accepted this will be my main race series for 2009 with a few outings at other
meetings when and where we can fit them in.

I’d like to thank all last season sponsors with the exception of Gary Ellis who promised a lot and never came up with anything at all. A big thanks to everyone else who supported me through a difficult season and especially to Rock Oil and KBC who have both already signed up to support me in 2009 and The Biker Place for the extra exposure, lastly but by no means least thanks to all my family and friends ,without whom racing would be impossible.

Look forward to seeing you around the tracks next season. Anyone who sees the black race truck with Jack Booth#10 on the side please feel welcome to come over and say hello and introduce yourself, have a chat and a cuppa.

All the best to everyone in 2009. Jack#10
