Nathan Westwood starting racing minimotos at Menimotos club in the west midlands early 2005.His first bike was a tiny Blata 3.5; he soon showed he could out ride the bike. in April the same year Nathan moved up to the more powerful Blata elite (7.5 bhp) he raced his first championship race in June 2005 at our local club ending the 5 round championship with a credible 5th place.

2006 seen Nathan move to the SEMRC championship in both 4.2 and production class, his first outing of the year seen him finish an incredible 2nd and 3rd on the day respectively. Nathan finished the season off with a fantastic 2 place in the production class and 3rd in the 4.2.
2007, saw Nathan on the move again, this time to the MMRA British championship, where he was with a partly sponsored team Racetech ride on the all new British built RT2, finishing the season off with a 4th place over all.
2008 and Nathan’s on the move again, this time with Fab racing, in the Metrakit GP50 class…..so far he’s had 2 hours on the bike, bearing in mind Nathan has had to learn how to use a gear box and clutch for the first time, and things are looking very promising
