Pedrosa critical of Hayden’s development abilities
Following his spectacular crash in testing, which left him with a broken right hand and his number one bike a charred mess, Dani Pedrosa has spoken out to criticise team-mate Nicky Hayden.
Putting his crash down to mechanical/bike failure rather than rider error, he is unlikely to be available for much, if any, of the remaining testing periods.
Pedrosa has hit out at the former MotoGP champion’s ability to adequately test and develop the Repsol Honda RCV.
I am worried about recovering quickly from the injury. I want to get back on the bike as soon as possible. Historically, Nicky has not been very beneficial when he has taken on the responsibility to evolve the motorcycle.
I don’t think Dani comes out too well with these comments, sounds like a spoilt child. I’m beginning to like Nicky Hayden more and more with the way he just quietly goes about his business, I really hope he has an improved 2008 now.

Nicky’s a good kid.
It was pretty childish of Dani to say that. Just because you’re three feet tall doesn’t mean you have to act like a 6 year old!

ha ha yeah
I really didn’t like this comment, kind of an underhand dig at your teammate. Hopefully it was badly translated or taken out of context, but i doubt it!

[...] It looks like the team mate rivalries are not limited to F1 only, MotoGPs Dani Pedrosa had some nice things to say about his team mate Nicky Hayden. [...]

I guess Nicky able to make his bike work well enough to win a championship doesn’t get thru Peterhosers thick little skull. Yeah, he doesn’t know what he’s doing. I would like to bitch slap that little weasel.

Pedrosa has a point cuz hes making way more progression then Nicky is. And they arnt friends or anything so i think its no problem for him to speak up like that.
Cuz lets face it Hayden being a champion is for one time only, if he isnt able to keep up on the new bikes like evrybody else he aint worthy being a champion.

of course Dinky Dani is making more progress w/212v. Honda developed it for his scrawny, puny ass! If they had given Nicky a motor and chassis suited to his adult size frame, he could be on his way to another championship. As it is, I’m glad he is jumping ship to Ducati. They are more responsive to rider needs.
