Quick Site Update

Here is a quick update on The Biker Place for those of you still visiting.

Firstly the apology, the site went through quite a sustained period of inactivity, due mainly to a change in the amount of free time I had available to push the site on. I apologise to all of you who were trying to use the site in that time.

The main reason the site stalled last time was due to everything needing to go through me, therefore I have made some substantial changes in the way the site works. You should now have your own login details, if not go here and request them, this will enable you to go into the site and update your profile as well as publish your own news and race reports. This will enable the site to continue working without everything having to go through me. I have installed a private messaging system for logged in users so that you can connect with other listed racers.

Moving forward I have shortened the list of racers on the homepage as it was getting out of control, we now have 10 featured racers listed alongside the 5 most recently added. To get featured all you have to do is be active on the site, keep your profile up to date, publish news or racer reports etc. A full list of racer profiles can be viewed here.

We are also opening the doors to riders from outside of the UK and we have some very talented young racers from across the globe lined up to join the site, a separate announcement will be made when the profiles are ready.

I have a few interviews lined up, anyone wanting an interview send me a message using the sites new Private Messaging function.
