So that was the Malaysian GP, or was it a re-run of the Australian GP ?, no it was definately in Sepang this time around. Another race and yet another easy victory for Casey Stoner taking his tally to ten for the season, anyone else get a sense of deja vu everytime they watch the Moto GP this season ?
Ducati Marlboro Team rider Casey Stoner scorched to his tenth victory of the year in faultless style at Sepang, leading every one of the 21 laps and setting the new lap record on lap 15.

Stoner’s tenth success aboard his Ducati Desmosedici GP7 came one week after his home win in Australia which added the constructors’ and teams’ titles to the riders’ title he secured in Japan last month. The Australian is also the only man to have scored in all 17 races so far.
Starting on the front row, Stoner controlled the race completely, holding a slender lead over Melandri and Pedrosa until he upped the pace and stretched the advantage. Stoner finally crossed the line 1.7 seconds ahead, taking his 10th win the penultimate race of the Moto GP calender.
Marco Melandri finished second with Dani Pedrosa completing the podium, Randy de Puniet finished a well-ridden, spirited race in fourth ahead of a disappointing Valentino Rossi who could only manage 5th.
So as the Moto GP season dwindles to a close, with one race remaining, the inevitable rumour mill kicks into gear with questions being asked about Kawasaki (who will ride for them next season ?), is Max Biaggi returning to Moto GP? and if so, who will he race for? And how will James Toseland fare next season as he steps up to Moto GP?

Will Biaggi be back? I’ll remain sceptical until a contract is signed, he’s burnt a lot of bridges in Moto GP in the past.
Would be good to have him back though
